He woke up this morning to a small bag of treats with his name on it, who wouldn’t want to start their day with freeze dried chicken livers with peanut butter…mmmm!!!

here are just a few of the takes from Moo’s moment in the spotlight…

He couldn't wait to get his lips on those new treats.

Adam and I LOVE to go to flea markets and yard sales so we can find others trash and turn it into our treasures. Recently my aunt and uncle were refinishing a house and they wanted to replace the front door. We were fortunate enough to hear this GREAT news and they gave us this awesome 1950’s wooden door for FREE!! I knew I couldn’t let this sit away and collect dust I wanted to get started on it right away.

I have been in desperate need of a designated area of our tiny house to wrap our prints that clients buy. Until now I have had all of our wrapping ribbon, stickers, boxes, and prints all over the house and it takes me twice as long to collect everything, wrap it, and put it away…UNTIL NOW!!!

I realized this was the perfect treasure to turn into our new wrapping station!! First we went to Home Depot to pick out paint colors and legs for the new table. After hitting a few bumps we finally figured out our attack plan and got to work.

here it is…

I sanded the rough spots just enough to smooth them over and then painted the undercoat of the door a pale green color that I also used in our latest bathroom remodel. After letting it dry I used a white candle and rubbed the door in all the places I wanted to pale mint color to shine through. Then I painted the top coat mint majesty. We sanded the door again when it dried with a fine sand paper and all of the mint majesty with wax underneath it came off to reveal the pretty pale green!! Adam and my dad constructed four wooden legs while I removed the glass from the door and trimmed it to fit into the bottom half of the door for a smooth work surface. We built three pockets for storage and hung two mason jars from the keyholes to be used for pen storage.

I couldn’t wait to get it into the house and filled with all of my supplies.

It is perfect in so many ways! I just love it.

Spring fever has defiantly reached the south, and we are already feeling a bit of the summer heat. Everyone is ready to be out enjoying the sun and sand, which is exactly what we did with the Walker/Lavallet families.

Things started out a little crazy. But we finally settled down and got to business…

well almost…

We are looking forward to spending many more days on the beach this summer!!

meet jameson…Adam and I photographed Jameson a few months back. Now that his one year birthday is fast approaching we wanted to share him with you before his birthday shoot next month!!

At first Jameson had to warm up to us. You can tell when Adam got a little to close for comfort!! (don’t worry no tears were shed!!)

after warming up he was ready to show us his cool room and take some more photos…

After playing around we decided to head outside on this beautiful Spring day. Jameson had a great time!! We can’t wait to have more fun in the sun with Jameson when he celebrates his 1st birthday!!

Good Morning All.

Monday is here and we are back at work. Before I get to deep into paperwork, I thought I would share one of our recent photo shoots. We photographed Bree last month right in her own backyard. She is learning so many new words each day but all she said to us was LaLa. (translation Lucky her dog) Lucky loves fetching pine cones so our entertainment was watching a 1 year old throw pine cones as far as her little arms could and Lucky would never fail bringing them back to her. Hope you all enjoy.

hope everyone has a great monday!!
